Providing authorships for our personnel and acknowledging our Core Facilities is critical to our survival!


Help OSU stay aware of our contributions to your research.


The Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities (ABRF) has established a world-wide set of guidelines for this purpose. Please see the full details at:

In Addition, OSU Facilities have additional requirements for acknowledging the funding agencies that contributed to the Core Facilities. For the Array and Bioinformatics Cores, please use the following acknowledgement:

At the very least PLEASE acknowledge the Microarray/Bioinformatics Cores in your publications, presentations and posters:

For each publication that results from grant support provided by the National Center for Research Resources (NCRR), a component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), grantees must include an acknowledgment of support and a disclaimer stating the following:

"This publication was made possible by Grant Number P20RR016478-06 from the National Center for Research Resources (NCRR), a component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH)". or "The project described was supported by Grant Number P20RR016478-06 from the National Center for Research Resources (NCRR), a component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and "Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official views of NCRR or NIH".

If your institution plans to issue a press release concerning the outcome of NCRR grant-supported research, it should notify the NCRR Office of Communications at 301-435-0888 in advance to allow for coordination."
